Conductors are vacuum-cast in epoxy resin to form a monolithic, void-free insulation body. The casting is impervious to water, dust, chemicals and UV, giving the busway a service life exceeding 30 years without maintenance.
Every busway run is produced on automated lines with 100% routine tests including dielectric withstand, insulation resistance and torque verification, in accordance with IEC 61439-6. Type test reports from KEMA / CESI are available for consultant and tender review.
